The Beverly Project: I lost my grandma in 2019 to cancer, she was 86 years old. She continues to be the greatest inspiration, mentor, and friend I ever had. Growing up, she had several pearls of wisdom she would share at random times. Thinking of her, I have created several unique pieces that honor her spirit and keep her words alive in this world, I call it my Beverly Project.

The phrase ‘it’s all in how you start them out’’ came from my grandmother. While the phrase typically was referring to children, this is applicable to many situations. The theory behind it rings true - when you start something, the expectation is that it will continue. So, how do you want a bedtime routine, shopping trip, snacks, to play out going forward? How do you want your students, colleagues, clients, customers, neighbors to treat you?

The claw style hook on the back allows for easy hanging on your walls. It can also be displayed on a shelf of resting at an angle. It is super light-weight and the dark finish gives it an aged or antiqued look. This would be a wonderful way to greet your guests as they enter your home in an entryway or living/family room. It would also make a great gift for an educator or new parent!
