Your paper plates won't blow away if sitting outside in this container. The deeper walls allow for the plates to be placed laying flat or standing. Pictured, I have a dinner size Chhinet plates (about 10 3/8") and Dixie plates (about 8 1/2") in the container. The Chinet plates are a bit snug when laying flat.
